Hilton Head Lakes is divided North and South -- the dividing demarcation is RT 278. The community designer had 4,700 +/- acres to create a fresh water lake as well as an 18-hole championship golf course.
The North side features Tom Fazio designed golf course, as well as a six-hole par 3 course. Unique to the site is a reclaimed water treatment plant that irrigates the entire golf course and residents homes with reclaimed water.

18 Hole Championship Golf Course
The Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes is the LowCountry's recently built 18-hole championship golf course. Expertly designed by Tommy Fazio to take full advantage of the property's lakes and natural wetlands, the versatile course offers five sets of tees— serving all skill levels. Deliberately angled greens, expansive fairways, and well-placed bunkers, the Par 72, 7,300 yard course offers a variety of holes to test a strategy, a golfer's creativity, and shot-making skills.
The popular course consists of 36 +/- acre practice facility, including target greens, bunkers, and multiple practice greens.
A Par 3 short course ranging from 70 to 180 yards; a full-service golf shop; and lunch served daily at the Café at Hilton Head Lakes.
